4th of July Long Weekend
I like going to the west side, it's nice, I spend a lot of time over there.
Got on the E train at my local stop,Lex and 53rd, alighted @West 4th
Stopped in @ Joes and got a coffee, very nice, I must say
Made my way down Christopher st to the Hudson where the ever reliable Circle Line was in motion
Skipped on the pier, it looked a little busy, and took a spot on the grass by the promenade, I read Next Magazine, The Wall St Journal and some of Herman Melville's Moby Dick.
A couple of liners rolled past, as often happens on a Saturday.
The passing parade of humanity was as mesmerizing as always.
Monday I was back, (I probably would of gone over on Sunday too but for the crowds amassing to watch the 4th of July Fireworks) the pier was totally lush, I crashed out on the grass 
And got wet several times under the water spray thing. I read the New York Times and the some more of Moby Dick.
Jersey and the Hudson looked as magnificent as always
I stayed and watched the sunset
